I marched today

screen-shot-2017-01-22-at-13-52-58I marched today because as a woman a sister, a mother, a human being, my heart is distraught, grieved, conflicted and appalled at the current state of the world.  Trump’s bigotry, xenophobia and sexism is deeply concerning and in direct conflict to the values I believe in. i will use my voice as an advocate for change amidst a climate of hate, indifference, and denial. i will take to the streets and stand alongside the marginalized, and be a voice of love, hope, peace and justice. today was astounding. hundreds of thousands of men, women and children peacefully protesting, walking these roads together to defend dignity. revolution isn’t just a part of our history, it’s happening now. come be a part of it. #womensmarch
